Our Story
Starting off as a sales clerk in a local flower shop, I never imagined my after school part-time job would turn into a full blown passion and career. My name is Stephanie, owner and operator of Mokara Designs & Events.
With a life long love for design and the arts, my professional journey began over fifteen years ago working at a local florist. Over time I would grow and expand my expertise from sales clerk to event director, and everything in between. These experiences have taken me all over the East Coast to the most beautiful places and wonderful people.
Currently residing in New Jersey, I live on a farm with my amazing husband and our three dog babies. We are so blessed to be surrounded by nature and spend a lot of time creating a personal oasis at home. (So much so, that we held our own wedding right at home in October of 2018.) From the vegetable garden to raising chickens we are always keeping busy outside! This is where I draw so much inspiration from, watching how the colors change from season to season and how the wild brambles coexist with the delicate blooms and vines. There is so much to learn by looking around!
My deep rooted love for creating and design is met with a brain for logistics and planning. It is with these skills that make for seamless and beautiful events. I can’t wait to learn about your story. Let’s grab a coffee and chat!
